So many great reviews here, after a week of use, I'll put a few tips up instead:

- read the Kindle manual thoroughly :)

- try all the features out when you get your Kindle, that way you'll get used to the (little) buttons & what they do real fast. The 5-way toggle particularly is worth some rehearsal.

- press Home or lock your Kindle when you finish a reading session - that stops your place being lost if you happen to inadvertently press the page forward/back buttons.

- Kindle has a clock - press Menu in any screen to see it, plus the book title, and usually the page number.Read More
